It Might Be Time to Replace Your Air Conditioner

Nothing lasts forever. Not even your air conditioner.

So how do I choose a new one?

You can extend its life and boost its efficiency with regular maintenance. But in the end, all air conditioners eventually wear out.

But it doesn't have to be traumatic. Easy AC is here for you. Our trained and certified technicians are all good listeners, and they'd love to help you select the unit and system that's right for your home. We consider factors like your location, home type, square footage - and most important, your own desired level of indoor comfort. And then we help you evaluate your options.

For example, perhaps you're thinking a window unit would do the trick. Maybe, but be careful. Window units are certainly cheaper to buy, but they're not necessarily cheaper to run over the long term. Window seals around these units almost always develop leaks, which can give mold the opening it needs to get a foothold inside your home. Not to mention the fact that window units are often noisier than you'd probably prefer.

If you're concerned about energy efficiency and adding to the value of your home, a central air conditioning system might be just the ticket. They're quieter than window units, far less susceptible to leaks, and they often have options for adding equipment to enhance indoor air quality.

And for those rooms where it's just not convenient to connect to your central AC system? Consider a mini-split system. Unlike window units, these systems have their own separate condensing units and air handlers. They're energy-efficient, include anti-allergy filtration, and can even be controlled remotely.

Of course, we can't tell you which system would be right for you until we actually see where you live. So give us a call and schedule an appointment for a technician to come out for a visit. And who knows - it may turn out that you don't actually need a new system at all. And if that's the case, we'd be happy to repair your old one.
